The Year 7 Adventure Camp, held at Cape Schanck, launches student life at Rowville Secondary College. A great opportunity to discover new friends and get to know teaching staff in a relaxed, fun-filled environment. This is held early Term 1 each year and is a key component of our Year 7 Transition into secondary school. Visit Year 7 Transition Hub for camp dates. 

The Urban Experience prepares our General Excellence Year 9 students for navigating public transport in our thriving city. Students grow organisational, communication and time management skills as they meet project requirements. The opportunity to visit iconic city destinations such as the Eureka Skydeck, the Old Melbourne Gaol, the Police Museum and the Big Issue offices adds further value to the Urban Experience.

The Central Australia Trip offers Year 10 students the opportunity to explore the Australian outback and forge great friendships, building collaborative and social skills. It is also a great opportunity to unplug from technology and experience life outside of the suburbs. A great favourite, well supported by our community.

The Instrumental Music Camp creates an opportunity for students across year levels to share their musical ability, practise the art of playing cohesively within a band or ensemble, learning new pieces including a Masterclass.

The Production Camp is an annual camp that takes place in Term 2.  The camp is for the cast and crew of our yearly production to rehearse and refine songs, scenes and dances from the show. It is also a wonderful experience to make new friends and collaborate artistically.

Rowville Secondary College has a long history of organising international tours for our students to participate in. These tours include Japan, Italy, Indonesia and the overseas World Challenge Trip.
