Former student, now Richmond AFL player, Tyler Sonsie, visited the school in Term 3 and spent a bit of time talking to the AFL Junior group before his game against Fremantle. Tyler spoke about his time at the Sports Academy in the AFL program and how it was a great foundation in helping him reach the AFL. He also gave an insight into his time at Richmond and what a week of an AFL player looked like. Tyler then answered some questions from the students and presented a signed football jumper to the school.

It was fantastic to see Tyler back at Rowville Secondary College and I’m sure it provided great motivation for our Junior AFL group to be the best they can be in the classroom and on the playing field.
